I am delighted to be able to welcome you to the German International School in Chennai.
Children are the main driving force behind the intelligent continued existence of our culture. This means that we need to use our own knowledge as the basis for establishing the right systems of incentives in order to facilitate sustainable development for our children. Hence, as the initiator of this school project, I am in pursuit of three objectives which are very close to my heart.
I foremost believe that children can and should have fun during their learning process. They are learning for life and not for examinations alone. At the German International School in Chennai, we devote attention to the individual areas of potential which children display and create appropriate opportunities for them to develop them further. This may be a claim made by every school, but with our years of experience and expertise in the field of education and training, it is something we are genuinely able to deliver.
It is also very important to me that everyone should have access to a good school education. In our capacity as the German International School in Chennai, we open our doors to children from all nationalities and varied backgrounds. We also have sponsorships in place which enable children from less privileged families to also attend our school.
Finally, I understand that for children to be happy, healthy and be completely at ease during their “wonder years” they have to be in an environment that promotes and encourages their educational achievement. Therefore, we practice an internal auditing system that sets the highest quality standards for staff and the people working with the school, to develop and promote the complete well-being of the students. From staff selection, advanced teacher training to health and safety features, we take utmost care. Because, when it is for somebody you care, every little detail matters.
